A Bodykit, also called a Widebody, is a stylistic augmentation to a car that oftentimes increases the aggressiveness of its look, giving it the stereotypical race car archetype. One of the most drastic changes, Widebodies completely overhaul designs, making entirely new cars out of the old. We are in this spirit, a basic design, and God holds the key to our extreme redesign. Like a Widebody, God doesn't do things halfway, and some things he has to rip off, cut away, and buff out of us to get us where he wants.

In life, we are only so good, a realization that is especially true for Christians. We all have great potential, but without God, that potential won't be realized. As John states in chapter 15:4-5: "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” As we can see, we need God; not only to be impactful, but simply to live. Without his protection, we would be immeasurably worse off, subject to Satan and the evils of this world without any hope of salvation.

We shouldn't simply aim for mediocrity, especially when God has made us for so much more. So how do we do that? It's easier than one may think.
Pray For God's Guidance And Dive Into His Word
If you want a better life, then you're gonna need God, it's undeniable. God has the power to do all things through you and to you, and he desires to use you as a light in the world. If we want to see what God has for us, we must be adamant in our search for him in our lives, for as Matthew writes, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). If we press on single-mindedly chasing the life God has in store for us, then we will receive the life in fulfillment he desires for us.

Keep God's Commands
God wants bless us, but we need to show we love him by following his commands. If we live out what God mandates for us, and stop loving in rebellion, our lives will be utterly changed. "...if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God" Deuteronomy 28:1-2. If we are faithful to God, God is faithful to develop us in the way we should go.

Put On The Armor Of God
The armor of God is our defense against the evils, traps, and pitfalls of the world. God gave us everything we need to live the Christian life, so we need to be intentional about guarding our faith. As seen in Ephesians 6, verses 13-17, we are implored to "...put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, in addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." If we bolster our faith with the defenses of God, then it'll become impregnable to the attacks of Satan.
