Reliability is the quintessential undertone of motorsport. Overlooked until an impressive lack thereof, reliability is one of those key thankless areas of non-limelight Auto Racing that makes a world of difference come raceday.
Simply put, without reliability, you aren't going to be racing. The backbone of a winning formula, reliability can be found subliminally as the head force in many areas, including driver consistency, engine longevity, and endurance pace. Reliability then, simply put, is what keeps the car doing exactly what is supposed to be doing, lap after lap, even when it's fully strung. The hardest thing to gauge in motorsport, Reliability, allows the car, team, and driver to not only run the race, but see victory lane.
If flawless reliability is something that's unheard-of in racing, (for it is simply impossible), then as drivers in your own race of life, you'll be glad to know that there is one thing that will never fail: God's Reliability.

God, unlike everything else in life, is unshakable. In every struggle, time of need, and difficulty, God may not feel close, but you can rest assured that he is faithful and with you at all times.
So what is God's reliability?
God is reliable in numerous ways. From keeping the Earth spinning at the correct speed to preparing a place in heaven for us, God oversees everything and mercifully keeps it all in check. The way this reliability probably means the most to us, then, is his consistency of Relationship.
See, God has always loved us: even before you were born, he had a plan for you. This isn't how it ends though. God goes further than developing plans full of unfulfilled promises. Unlike us humans, God has both the unending grace and utmost care to bear with us through every stage of life, no matter what, as long as we ask him to come into our lives. "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16 NIV If you are a Christian, then you undoubtedly have a father in heaven who loves and cares for you, who will never leave you on your own.
How can we know God is reliable?
That's a great question with two simple answers: 1: The Bible Says So. 2: If You're Alive, He's Reliable. Sounds dumb, right? But it's really that simple of a mind game. See, we need to understand that as Christians we're fighting more than flesh and blood, but against Satan and his demonic forces. Being so, Satan is going to try EVERYTHING to get you to think God has abandoned you, and you need to destroy those thoughts before they take hold on your life. So take a look at what the Bible says about God's reliability.
Romans 14:7-8 reads, "For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” What that says is that NO MATTER WHAT, you belong to the Lord, and there's nothing that your bully, nor boss, nor Satan, nor whoever, can do to change that.
Or how about in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, where it's written, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
GOD DOESN'T LEAVE US! We need to understand that, he's reliable for the hard times, and he wants a relationship with us. He was there on day one, and he'll be here with us in eternity. Unlike everything in this world, God is undeniably ever-present and able, the epitome of reliability.
So, what does that mean for us?
One. Simple. Thing.:
WE NEED TO STOP BEING AFRAID AND HAVE SOME FAITH WHEN LIFE LOOKS ROUGH...
God gave us the power, through a relationship with his son, to go to heaven, be purified (as well as protected against the forces of evil), and demolish strongholds in his name; yet somehow we get amnesia over this once our waters get murky.

We as Christians need to go forth in the power we received through a God given Relationship with the assurance that God is good for it, whatever we need. No longer should we fear what he has claimed he would be there for, believing rather in Satan's implants.
Let's get bold, get some faith, and follow God in our daily lives knowing that no matter what, as long as we are in accordance with his will, we have absolutely nothing to worry about. Psalms 118:6 states, "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"
"He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea." Job 9:8 NIV
